Many people think that Google Adsense is the way to go to make money online. Google pays out millions per month to people so it is certainly a viable source of money. However, once you have a steady stream of traffic to your site there is no reason why you can't get more money using the traffic you already have. Google Adsense operates on a pay per click model. A person visits your website, sees an ad that is relevant to them, clicks on it and you make money. It sounds pretty idiot proof. The reality is that there are a number of variables that effect how much you will get paid. If you select Adsense Setup / Referrals you can select programs that pay per lead. These will often generate far more income than simple pay per click programs.

Pay per lead programs are not for everyone. If you have no traffic or traffic that is not targeted, you may not make any money with pay per lead programs. If, however, you can find an advertiser with products or services that match whatever your site is about, you may be in business. Get over to Commission Junction and LinkShare and create an account. Then add some pay per lead ads to your targeted sites. Remember, you need to match the ad with your site.
