It's Promote Your Site Wednesday on PureBlogic and I'm going to tell you about a great place to promote your site and drive traffic to your site. That place is called Blog Engage and it provides site owners with a great place to promote their articles and drive traffic.

Blog Engage was started about 6 months ago. The entire purpose of Blog Engage is to give site owners a place to promote their content and everything about Blog Engage makes it easy to do this. The layout of Blog Engage is attractive and very easy on the eyes making for an easy read of those fantastic articles that have been "engaged", which is the Blog Engage version of an approval rating for an article. Blog Engage allows you to submit your own articles, which are then reviewed by members of the community. Your article will make it to the main page based on how many times it is voted for. When a user submits a Blog article it is placed in an unpublished area until it gains sufficient votes to be promoted to the main page.

As you can see, the site is a beautiful blue (my favorite color) and the layout makes the content very easy to follow.

Submitting stories is very easy. After getting your account setup, you can begin posting articles. If people like your articles, they will show their approval by "engaging" your article. Engages are just likediggs for an article. The more "engages" an article gets, the higher up the story goes. The traffic from an engaged article can give you a nice boost.
